Show Ticket NYC

Has anyone been to a recording of the Rachael Ray Show in NYC?
I got tickets to see the registration Rachael Ray Show in New York this month, and I am wondering what to expect and how best to get there from Pittsfield, Mass. (take the train or car?)
She tapes on East 44th between 2nd and 3rd. It is a short walk from Grand Central Terminal. You get to GCT by Metro North, Amtrak NOT. Who goes to Penn Station, much further. Your best bet is to drive or take Amtrak to Stamford. You can park safely and all subway trains on the North New Haven Line stop at Stamford. You might get on in New Haven, but the number of trains is much cheaper and it is a mixture of Metro North and Shoreline East trains. Below is a link to train schedules MTA. Have fun!
